SPOTLIGHT. IT’S WHAT YOU MAKE IT


Prior to our brand refresh of Spotlight, not many people knew them as anything other than a craft store.
We developed a creative platform which encapsulated their entire range:
Decorate homewares
Celebrate party supplies
Create craft and sewing

We conveyed this through a new brand line, ‘It’s what you make it’, encouraging new and existing customers to express themselves in every room of their home, at every party they held and in every project they undertook.

This was underpinned by the value promise of Decorate it, Celebrate it and Create it for less. Along with developing a new music track, we filmed a vast library of over 80 unique scenes, covering every aspect of Spotlight’s store offering.

Scenes were designed to be mixed and matched to create brand and retail executions, which could be tailored to house any offer, and used on screen, online and on social.
